Penelope Cruz is rumoured to be getting married in December.

The Spanish actress is reportedly planning her wedding to long-term boyfriend Javier Bardem for next month and is shopping for a dress.

A source said: "They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays. Since she and Javier are from Spain, she'd love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown."

It is believed the dress could be created by the House of Balenciaga - which was founded by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga - the fashion house that designed and made Salma Hayek's gown when she tied the knot with billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

The source added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "Salma's dress was specifically designed for her by the company's creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere, and it was just beautiful.

Kate Hudson's son has a crush on Penelope Cruz.

The actress admits six-year-old Ryder - her son with ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson - took a liking to Penelope when she and Kate were filming new movie 'Nine' together.

Talking about the shoot, Kate said: "Ryder would say to me, 'I saw Penelope in the lobby today.'

"You could see that he recognised what a beautiful woman she is. He's so cute!"

Kate recently revealed how confident Ryder is and knows exactly what he wants.

The 30-year-old star - whose mother is Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn - said: "My mother has said, 'He'll be a director of something because everything is specific.'

"You know, we went to this birthday party where everybody was getting their faces painted and the kids were going, 'I want to be Spider-Man or Batman.'

"But Ryder was like, 'I want a red face and I want white around the eyes, I want a white mouth, I want spikes and yellow dots on each one.'
